The 11+ (Eleven Plus) is a highly competitive selective entrance examination taken by students in Year 6 (ages 10-11) to gain entry to grammar schools in England and Northern Ireland, and some selective independent schools. The exam tests verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English, and mathematics, with formats varying by region. With over 163 grammar schools in England and intense competition (4-10 applicants per place), thorough preparation is essential for success.
