📋 About the CILS
CILS is an official Italian language proficiency certification issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena (Università per Stranieri di Siena). Recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), CILS certifies Italian language competence for non-native speakers at six levels from A1 to C2. It is accepted for university admission, professional registration, and residency applications in Italy.
