The HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is China's official standardized test for assessing the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers. Developed by Hanban (now the Center for Language Education and Cooperation), it measures listening, reading, and writing skills across six levels. HSK is the most widely recognized Chinese proficiency test globally, accepted by universities, employers, and immigration authorities.
