📋 About the JAMB
JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) conducts the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for admission into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. With nearly 2 million candidates annually, it's one of Africa's largest computer-based examinations. The test covers Use of English (compulsory) plus three subject-specific papers based on the candidate's intended course of study. JAMB also manages the centralized admission process through its Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

NECO is an alternative O'Level to WAEC. Both are accepted alongside JAMB for university admission. JAMB is still required separately.
Post-UTME is university-specific screening after JAMB. Some universities use JAMB score alone, others require Post-UTME. Different from JAMB UTME.
