📋 About the JLPT
The JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) is the most widely recognized standardized test for evaluating and certifying Japanese language proficiency of non-native speakers. Jointly administered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES), it assesses language knowledge (vocabulary, grammar), reading ability, and listening ability across five levels (N5-N1). Over 1 million people take the JLPT annually worldwide.
