NAPLAN
National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy
📋 About the NAPLAN
NAPLAN is Australia's annual standardized assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9, measuring literacy and numeracy skills against national benchmarks. Introduced in 2008 and fully transitioned to online adaptive testing (NAPLAN Online) in 2022, it provides valuable diagnostic information to students, parents, teachers, and schools about areas of strength and growth. While controversial among some educators, NAPLAN results are used for school accountability and curriculum planning across all Australian states and territories.
