FAA Pilot Knowledge Tests (Airman Knowledge Tests) are federally required examinations for obtaining pilot certificates and ratings from the Federal Aviation Administration. These computer-based tests assess aeronautical knowledge in regulations, aerodynamics, weather, navigation, aircraft systems, and flight operations.
