📋 About the SATs (UK)
SATs (Standard Assessment Tests) are national curriculum assessments in England taken at the end of Key Stage 1 (Year 2, ages 6-7) and Key Stage 2 (Year 6, ages 10-11). They measure children's progress in reading, writing, and mathematics against national standards. KS2 SATs are particularly important as they inform secondary school placement decisions and measure primary school performance.
