📋 About the TASC Test
The TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) was a high school equivalency test developed by Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) as an alternative to the GED. Available from 2014 to 2022, TASC was used in several states including New York, Indiana, West Virginia, and Wyoming. The test covered five subjects: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. While TASC has been discontinued and replaced by GED or HiSET in most states, understanding its history is valuable for those who took the test during its availability period.
